Mishu’s posts on how to be happy or grow the happiness in your life
I worry about losing my family. Last weekend all but one of my humans went out of town. . - what about you?
Always do what you want to do. Be You.
Dear Linda: So nice of you to ask! Almost every night I meet my puppy friends Onyx and Remy outside to play and even though they’re small they’re always happy to chase me. So – I’d say my neighbors are treating me great! How about yours?
Dear Lottie: If you’re asking what I would do, you know the answer. To feel good about yourself and #destress – try exercising in a nature — forest, park, beach or taking a walk or bike ride. But if you like to spend $ — why not! Whatever makes you happy, sweetie!
Dear Jo:Stop thinking about your thoughts…. being mad at yourself or worrying about feeling bad just makes it worse…. Just let yourself feel bad or think negative thoughts for a little while, & then try to move on. Let me know how it goes. #NowIsNow
The Inside Story
Feeling bad about yourself isn’t fun, but it’s part of life sometimes. Mishu’s message is to stop feeling bad about feeling bad — it only makes it worse.
Negative emotions are a normal part of life
Everyone feels bad about themselves at some point. It’s normal. But we make it worse when we worry about our worries, or feel bad about our bad feelings.
Anxiety often takes the form of worrying not just about tangible things, but about the fact that we’re worrying. Or, if you tend to be critical of yourself, getting angry at yourself when you find yourself doing that.
Lots of bad things have happened lately to my family and friends. Please tell me some happy things, Miranda asks, Mishu answers.
Dear Miranda: 🦋🐳🐬🌈🌞🌻😎 The world is beautiful. Bad things are also part of this beautiful life. The only way to go forward is to accept the bad-beautiful things and try to notice the good-beautiful things. Try a nature walk or a trip to the beach – it always helps! What do my friends think?
Celebrating Freedom on the 4th of July!!
Dear Jo: You can’t prevent problems, but you can control what they mean…. My problem is that I can’t ever catch a squirrel. I could think “I’m a failure, I never catch a squirrel” or I could think “Every day I get to chase squirrels, the ultimate challenge!” …Which way would you rather live? #DeepThoughts
The Inside Story
Life is full of ups and downs and if we view it as our job, or our right, to live without any problems, we’re going to be disappointed. Expecting ourselves to be happy and problem free all the time isn’t realistic.
But there are lots of ways you can take control of your life and the stress that comes with problems.
Dear Sammi: The wisest people think they don’t know anything….so they’re always curious, open to new things, learning, and growing…. Not to brag, but every morning I sniff the grass as if I’ve never smelled grass before. #TrySomethingNew
When we asked Mishu’s followers to describe her in 3 words, wise was the one that came up the most often.

I wish I could run as fast as I can for as long as I want, but I wouldn’t want to give up treats, a comfy place to sleep, and my humans…. Did you know that some humans they aren’t free – and they also don’t get good food, a comfy place to sleep or to be with the people they love? Human trafficking is a terrible problem. The Inside Story
As many of you know, Dear Mishu had a tough puppyhood in a place where animals are often neglected. There are so many animals in this situation in the world, that it can be easy to overlook the horrible crimes we humans enact on our own species.
Proud to know @mrpigandthemonkey my Aussie buddies who help university students de-stress with some dog love!…. (sorry for the repost but it came out ugly the first time I posted it).
